There are other optional mods it this folder you can move to mods and enable them if you want. Then move 1.5_OTC_Realistic Scopes for 16 to 9 RSRDCv502 to MODS and enable it next. Unzip the above, it contains four folders:ġ.0 TMO_RSRD_OTC put in MODS and apply it firstġ.5 OTC OptionalGoodys not a mod, but a folder containing other mods look in it for 1.5_OTC for 16 to 9 Aspect Ratio RSRDCv502, put it in MODS and enable it with JSGME second (16:9 is 1920x1080, there are other folders for different ratios). Other minor mods and tweaks and graphics are also included. ![]() ISP improved ship physics stock ships (and you) accelerate way too fast (literally get out of path of torpedoes with a roadrunner dash), and coast along forever when engine stops, takes 12 minutes to come to a stop from 5kts. Adds dial to input range directly without using stadimeter. This fixes that and gives a larger scope view with less wasted border around the edges. OTC optical targeting correction stock periscope and uzo views are wonky and inaccurate. RSRDC historical convoys practically everyone uses it. TMO Trigger Maru Overhaul one of the main megamods. Also adds some commonly used minor mods and some graphics mods and tweaks. Ralles RealModPack combines some of the more important, must-have mods in one package, with the right versions and the compatibilities sorted out. You need 4GBPatch and JSGME to install mods] ![]() and it doesn't crash as often.[This page also has link to SH4 V1.5 BasicToolBox(4GBPatch, JSGME and MultiSh4) Whichever way you go, Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific is excellent stuff, and other than a few things from SH5 (ie: python scripts, graphics), is a much better game - my opinion again, of course. Notice that it is a WIP (Work In Progress), and most likely will never be completed by Ducimus, but if Bleiente continues on with his edits (and he is a diligent type), it should be pretty cool also. If you go to the last few pages of that, Bleiente is also working on his "interpretation" of the mod. Not to be neglected is Ducimus' (of TMO fame) Nine Delta Two mod. There are several add-on mods for it also. If you are looking for UBoat action, in my opinion, you have to do Operation Monsun from Lurker_hlb3 (of RSRDC fame), in spite of some "upgrade" issues. Bubblehead1980 was also working on his version, but we haven't seen his just yet. But, there is also a version of TMO / RSRDC that Bleiente did, called Ralles RealModPack., in which he includes some nice changes from TMO with RSRDC. Some aspects of the mod are too tough, other aspects are too easy, so we are working on a base "balance" at this time, which is the one part of TMO that is "set" - but that is also because it is not being tweaked on by its author. Regarding the manual i was surprised to see it has just 30 pages. Unless you tell me that I will have to re-learn everything nearly from scratch and it would be easier to learn directly with the mod. It is based upon TMO v1.7, originally from the AOTD_MadMax team, and it has all of the ships planes and shore installations of Max's mods, but also quite a few assets of several other mods as well. Should I install GWX I think I will first play the gbase game and when I egt familiar with it will try the mod. It is in "production" (a fancy word for "tinkering"), and we are about set to unleash the next version upon the SubSim community, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Being biased as I am, I'd vote for Fall of the Rising Sun Ultimate as the best overall.
